Amazing location, v. large room in Waterloo

It is a fully furnished, large, double room right behind the Old Vic theatre in Waterloo. It is an amazing location: Southwark, Waterloo and Lambeth North and Elephant and Castle stations all within 5 minute walk. Elephant and Castle is 7 minutes. It's a really safe area with a lot of character; little bars, organic supermarkets, Sainsbury's, Tesco's, Iceland, the South Bank and street market all minutes away. Plus many parks a short stroll away: Kennington, The War Museum, St James' and a few little street ones minutes on foot.

The flat has three double bedrooms and a good sized eat in Kitchen. Separate toilet and bathroom, (bath and shower). The Kitchen includes large fridge and freezer, washing machine ( new Sep '19), tumble dryer and gas oven, with wooden four-seater table and matching chairs. The bedroom has two large sash windows, carpeted, bed side unit, 1 wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelving unit, desk (a 2nd wardrobe can be arranged if needed), large double bed with wrought iron frame, sofa (which can be used as a single bed if you have a mate over) and lots of storage in a walk in cupboard in the hallway. The flat is carpeted throughout, except the kitchen, toilet and bathroom which have tiled floors.

If you are a cyclist, I am. We have a spare cycle locker down stairs with your name on it.

Living with Maud who works in marketing, and me. Maud is in France, (she's French), during lockdown so it is just me in the flat at the mo. I have lived here for nearly ten years and love it. I work in the arts, communications and healing fields, I work from home some days as I am self employed. Maud works long hours Monday to Friday. I am easy going, tidy and considerate. Please ask if you want to see more photos or have any questions. Looking to line someone up asap although the move in date is May 30th, there is some flexibility with this though, so ask me if you want to change your dates. 1 month deposit including bills is required, viewing welcomed. Looking for someone independent and friendly who is happy to make friends and hang out every now and then. We tend to have a flat outing about once a month and might use that to go to gallery, food or theatre together.

It's a vegan flat, looking for someone vegan ideally, or veggie.

There is no living room, we use the kitchen to socialise (and the local cafes, restaurants and bars). It is a beautiful red brick listed building with period features. Oh and there is a 24 gym 30 seconds from the front door. It's really reasonable (�19.99 pm membership). The Castle centre in Elephant and Castle offers us free swim and gym Fri-Sunday too! Also, we have just got a cleaner for 2 hours a week which is £8 each. Not during lock down though.

The landlord specifies no couples and no pets allowed, although if you have a pet there may be some flex on this during these unusual times.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, happy to try to make flat a home but can also respect each others space. I am into spirituality, Buddhism, travelling, finding unusual places, the arts and the planet. I enjoy travelling, yoga and the art scene in London. All Bills are currently 68.58 pcm.
