Description
Are you looking for a double room in a spacious house, with garden, lounge and close to the tube?
The double room has lots of cupboard space and a small desk.
But if you work from home, you can also use the lounge, or even a seat in the garden if it's sunny.
You have a shower room and toilet right next door to the bedroom. It's not ensuite, but since I have my own bathroom on the top floor, you're not really sharing it.
There's a kitchen with washing machine, and dish washer. And a small garden with a shed to store a bike, It's only 5 mins walk down the hill to Gunnersbury park (where they do park run, and there's a gym there). And we're well connected - South Ealing on the Piccadilly line with 20 mins to Piccadilly Circus and 25-30 mins the airport, or the bus up to Ealing Broadway and to Richmond - so plenty of options if there are tube or rail strikes, and on the 24 hr tube at weekends.
With two of us in the house there is plenty of space - and room to invite friends over, occasionally, with agreement, in the guest room / sofa bed.
I'm looking for someone who is pretty relaxed in the house, happy to have shared meals occasionally but also comfortable in doing their own thing. You might hear my occasional warbling when practicing singing for the musicals choir I am in. Since this is a semi-detached house with a family next door, the occasional louder gathering is fine, but we need to respect their space too.
I live in - and work from home - helping companies make their digital products work for people with disabilities. I like hiking, cycling, scuba diving and exploring London, meeting with friends, but home is more of a quieter retreat.
I am considering getting a cat - so the house should be for someone who is open to the idea and not allergic to cats. Not considering a dog.
If this place sounds like it could be right for you - then get in touch.
