Lovely dbl room in Queer Nerdy flat 🧑🏾‍🌾

Hello lovely prospective roomie!
Unati and Emberly (Em) here! We’re super queer trans t4t enby’s.

We have a comfy double room available in a 2 bed flat with a lush Garden in leafy Ealing. Available from the 1st of April to the 31st of October 2025 (negotiable)

£875 bills included.

The room will come with a double bed so I'll update pics as soon as that is sorted.

So the nitty gritty:

The Flat:

As mentioned is a 2 bed flat across two floors (1 flight of stairs) making it sadly not accessible. There’s a great lounge kitted out with large telly, console for gaming and most streaming services, great insanely comfy sofa which turns into a massive bed for movies or game nights.

There’s a cosy kitchen which is fully stocked with all that one could desire. Dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, air fryer, plates, pots, pans, food processor, mixer, blender etc loads of what you need if you enjoy cooking and also don’t own a load of household things!

There’s a second toilet downstairs as well. There’s one shared bathroom upstairs with shower over bath.

But our favourite bit is the garden! Super leafy and spacious it’s shared by 4 neighbours who are all super lovely. I’ve got a 6 to 8 seater outdoor park bench plus 2 Bbqs (one for meat eaters one for vegans)! Great in the warmer months!

We’re currently growing our own food and other pollinator plants etc. there’s a raised bed and grow bags all over the shop filled with yummy food (which you’ll have access to) and trees and plants.

We’re growing heirloom tomatoes, aubergine, cucumber, chillis, tomatillos, blueberries, strawberries, lettuce, kale, garlic, onion, courgette, potatoes, fresh herbs, carrots, radishes and anything else we fancy across the garden and greenhouse.

Oh and there’s free safe parking! And a wonderful cleaner once per week!

The Area!

South Ealing is pretty cool for West London 😆 there are loads of restaurants, cafes, pubs and stores nearby. And Ealing Broadway is a short bus ride or 30 minute walk away. We are soo close to Gunnersbury Park it’s silly so prime picnic vibes if you want them. Our area is quiet.

It’s not a party house but we do vibe and have bbq’s!

The nearest tube, South Ealing Station, (Piccadilly) is 12ish minute walk and you can catch the 65 Bus to Ealing Broadway for the Elizabeth Line and Central line! There’s also a Bus into Hammersmith nearby which passes Gunnersbury Station for the overground! Kew Bridge station is about a 17 minute walk away.

The Vibes

You’ll be sharing with me Unati, a laidback nonbinary actor/writer/voice artist. Em, chill transfemme and freelance sound designer. But the best of us is my wonderfully delightful cat Garlic Bread (yes that is her name), who is the sweetest darling girl! So you MUST like cats. She is really friendly.

We’re gamers who love anime, film, trying new food, dungeons and dragons, basically big old nerds

We’re polyamorous so we expect a roomie to be respectful of this. We are hella left leaning politically. ACAB, no terfs, swerfs, tories or centrists, no transphobes or homophobes. Intersectional feminists to the front! Free Palestine. Anti racist. Decolonisation is central to critical thought and why Capitalism?

However, being trapped by capitalism we are looking for a roomie! Which brings us to your potential vibes!

Probably a little nerdy, good communicator, down to keep the house homely and chill. Up for game nights and maybe a bit of gardening 🧑🏾‍🌾 Down to cook meals together, living more cooperatively obvs nobody will touch special items but sharing staple id space saving in the kitchen. You like weird, silly or just comforting movies. You’re compassionate and you’re sensitive to trans folk’s rights. You’re respectful of ppls pronouns. You’re down for a pint at the pub.

Despite my (Unati) tendency to jump on a soapbox at the slightest provocation I’m very open to difference and love learning from others points of views as long as basic human rights aren’t up for debate! Ideally you’re pretty queer but the straights are welcome too!
