Description
Double room in cosy 2 bedroom flat!
Sharing with one other professional 29 year old female. Spacious living room and kitchen/diner area. Furnished throughout, though would of course be happy to move things around or swap things based on what future flatmate brings and likes.
One of the best things about this flat is the location for sure, we are under 10 mins walk to London Fields/Broadway Market, and just a 5 min walk from Victoria Park. We’re also close by to lots of cosy pubs which my current flatmate and I have spent many a cosy evening in! Nearest station is London Fields, with good bus links and a 20 min walk to central line at Bethnal Green. The entrance is tucked away and have always felt totally safe here. We also have a car parking space so bonus points if you can put that to use!
My current flatmate Anna and I have been here for 2 years. Anna is moving in with her boyfriend but I am not ready to leave!
About me: I’m Rachel, I’m 29 and originally from Swansea. I’ve lived in London for about 7 years now, other than a year or two abroad, having moved here for uni back in the day. I work in media production, generally in the office or on shoots 2/3 days a week. I’m a sociable gal and often out and about a few nights a week but also really appreciate having a cosy home to come home to! Not a flat built for hosting massive parties, but will occasionally have a few friends round for dinner and would always want my flatmate to feel welcome to join if I do (though also you do you!). The space would be yours to do the same or use it how you’d like. I like tv, film, music, and have also got into running whilst living here as delightful running spots just on our doorstep (viccie park!). I’m pretty easy going and looking to find someone friendly and easy to get along with. The bedrooms themselves are on the smaller side, so probably not best suited to someone who needs a desk in their room/ is on a lot of calls for work, but wfh set up works well at the dining table and I can be flexible about when I go in to the office so both of us being hybrid would work well.
Contract renews on 7th Jan and looking for someone to sign new contract. Will be confirming new flatmate by end of next week so looking for someone who is ready to commit and go through referencing asap.
Bills are about £80/£90 each and EPC Energy Rating is C (not quite sure what this means or if this is good but apparently it’s important 🤷🏻♀️).
