Hello all - I will be moving out of this beautiful and characterful flat around the end of October and looking to find a replacement for my huge and comfortable room.
It's very spacious by average London standards, and part of a lovely Edwardian building in a quiet and leafy street. Everyone in the building knows each other and there is a really nice, welcoming atmosphere. The landlord's son lives upstairs so problems are resolved very quickly.
You will be sharing with Alan and Holly. Alan is an illustrator and Holly works in advertising. We like to think we are a friendly and inclusive house who enjoy spending time together but are also happy doing our own thing, so would want to find someone similar. Alan works from home and Holly in the office.
The room available is north facing so it's very light and airy, with two large French windows with a beautiful green view The living/kitchen area is spacious and we often have good chats while cooking and sometimes watch something together in the evening.
Ideally we're looking for a mature, sociable, creative and easygoing flatmate who is tidy and clean and might share some of our interests in other cultures, films, food, and art.
We have a good washer-dryer machine and a dishwasher. The bathroom and toilet are separate which is ideal for mornings. There is also a big TV with Nexlix in a comfy open plan dining/living room which is perfect for chilled out evenings.
The rent is a £775 a month without bills. Council tax is about £95 a month on top of that per person than we have usual water, electric, gas and broadband.
There are plenty of nearby transport links. Finchley road on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines are under ten minutes walk, South Hampstead Overground is 5 minutes, West Hampstead Thameslink and Overground are about a ten minutes walk in the other direction.
We're looking for someone to move in by 21st October but it’s possible to move in as earlier or later depending on both our logistics. Ideally we're looking for a long term tenant but we will consider a short term let.
