We’re renting out a lovely double room in our beautiful South Kensington flat on Cornwall Gardens, one of the most iconic and picturesque roads in the area. If the street looks familiar, it’s because it is — Cornwall Gardens has been featured in Netflix’s You and was recently used for filming Black Doves, so you’ll quite literally be living on a film set!
The room is cosy, and comes with a comfortable double bed and plenty of built-in storage. While there isn’t a desk inside the room, you’re very welcome to use our standing desk in the spacious living room, which is perfect for working from home.
The flat itself is large, airy, and full of character, with high ceilings, beautiful period cornicing, and huge bay windows that flood the space with natural light. The living room is generous and perfect for relaxing, and the kitchen is modern and fully equipped.
One of the best features is our private balcony, where you can enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the beautiful architecture of the neighbourhood and a stunning green quad. It’s a rare find in this part of London!
You’ll be sharing with one friendly flatmate who is mid-thirties, university educated, works in finance. He is sociable, tidy and likes to do sports. I’m heading off on a career break for a couple of months, which is why the room is available.
