Large double room available immediately in a friendly house share in between Vauxhall and Stockwell. Great central location with great transport links.

The house is just off South Lambeth road in a cul-de-sac, we have a back garden (see photos) and parking available outside the front. We have a living room/kitchen with a big TV and a well equipped kitchen.

The room is a decent sized double, comes with double bed, chest of draws and a wardrobe on the second floor of the house (with access to own shower and bathroom). Please note that this room has been completely vacated - new furniture will be provided and the room has (since photos) been completely re-painted with new wardrobe, chest of draws and bedside table.

The current housemates are Paul, Alice and Emma. We are all professionals working in London and have a range of interests - we all share a love for baking/food and a good Netflix documentary/series. We are looking for someone like minded to join the house, someone who is clean and tidy, respectful of others but happy a part of a shared house. Were super easy - we do house dinners/watch films and tv together but also happy to chill out in our own space too. Collective love for all the beige food - some are also into sports (we dabble in a bit of everything). The lounge has been transformed during lockdown into a pub, but also a fitness studio, a place to play boardgames or into a cinema.

We have a back garden with a BBQ, obligatory fairy lights, garden furniture, sun loungers and a fire pit. There is also a large planter - we've grown various herbs, vegetables over the last few years which we've even managed to turn into house dinners. No obligation to join in with the crop farming!

The house is very close to a large range of amenities, shops, a new gym and a giant Sainsburys superstore/Argos/Habitat and so much more is popping up in the area. A 10 minute walk to Stockwell Tube, less than ten min walk to Vauxhall and super close to the new Nine Elms station due to open shortly.

The bills are included and cover internet, gas, electric, water, council tax, tv licence. We also have Netflix/Now TV and Amazon Prime video. The bills also go toward shared pot for household items - cleaning, loo rolls, washing and dishwasher tablets etc.

Worth a mention is another "housemate" Hector is a 5.5 year old tortoise who sleeps for a large proportion of the year, and roams the garden during the remaining few months in the summer. Will happily eat all of the salad you buy and forget to eat which is ace.

We are doing viewings at the moment with all of our safety in mind but think its much better to see the place in person (also happy to do video calls though!)
