Hello! I’m renting out a large double bedroom in a beautiful big home spread over four floors, on a quiet residential street in Stockwell/Nine Elms. The house is LGBT friendly, warm, and welcoming. Looking for someone to join me and my housemate.
The Room
£1050 (this includes all bills (around £220/month) except cleaning.
A large furnished double room on a floor to yourself with a double bed with storage underneath, use of three chests and clothes rails. Room for a desk and a small armchair to relax in. It's garden facing, so nice and quiet.
The House
A charming, character filled, colourful Victorian home set across four floors (two living floors, two floors with bedrooms) with:
• A large kitchen/dining area with direct access to a generous 24 metre garden recently renovated with outside dining table
• Shared bathroom and a separate loo
• A living room and a study area
• Dishwasher, washing machine and separate pantry
• Fibre broadband
Location
We’re in a peaceful street in Stockwell, with excellent transport links:
• A short walk to Stockwell (Zone 2) and Nine Elms (Zone 1) – both on the Northern Line, and Stockwell also on the Victoria Line
• Quick bus links into Central London
• 15 minute walk to Vauxhall Station
• Close to large Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Tesco Express, and lots of great Portuguese and other cafes and restaurants
• 24-hour PureGym nearby
About You
I’m looking for someone reliable, considerate, and generally independent but still up for chat or shared meal sometimes. Ideally, you’re not working from home (or only one day a week), and you’re respectful of the shared spaces. The house is tidy, and I’d like to keep it that way.
There's now two of us - one gay, one straight; both professionals aiming for a friendly respectful home. I also have a friendly spaniel Archie who's really easy going and well behaved.
