Lovely, recently redecorated double room available in a beautiful 5-bedroom family home in Vauxhall for a tidy, quiet, non-smoking, lodger. We prefer a female lodger as we are mostly females. Close to Nine Elms, Vauxhall, Stockwell and Oval tubes (zone 1/2), Vauxhall British Rail, Vauxhall River Boat Pier, and direct buses to central London. Area has several parks, sports facilities, riverside pubs, cafes, restaurants, and the fantastic South Bank and Battersea Power Station are a short stroll away.
Room redecorated with contemporary furniture incl. a desk, wardrobe, small double bed and drawers, and you will have use of an adjacent bathroom (shared with 1-2 others), good WiFi, an independent pantry and access to a huge modern kitchen-diner up to 20:00 every day (but not access to the living room).
The house is contemporary, gorgeously decorated and luxurious. We are a small family, and you will be sharing the top floor with our au pair and sometimes our 14-yr old. You would be responsible for cleaning your room, taking turns to clean your bathroom, and for cleaning and tidying the kitchen-diner after each time you've used it (kitchen-diner hours of use are 6:30-20:00, latest 20:15).
Would suit a young professional or mature student best as we are a quiet, clean, tidy family home; perfect if you want a quiet, comfortable time!
Room available now, minimum stay 4 months, rent £800 per calendar month, plus £150 bills including Council tax, utilities, insurance, TOTAL £950.
PLEASE NOTE: our lodgers really appreciate the comfort and cleanliness of our home (our last one stayed almost 2 years!), however as we are a busy family with 2 kids and an open-plan kitchen/living area, our place does not suit people looking to socialise and/or cook and eat all their meals at home.
