Double Room In Quiet Area. Mon-Fri Let

PLEASE READ!! This ad is a Monday to Friday let, for professionals who don’t wish to commute daily into London, and to have the ability to leave things in the room over the weekend etc. and is priced as such. Please make it clear in your message or profile that you are looking for a mon-fri let.

I’m looking for a part-time lodger to fill my spare room during the week! Kitchen, dining area and bathroom are shared and of course you’ll have space in kitchen cupboards/fridge etc if needed.

The room itself is a good size double (a little over 3.5m x 2.6m), in the past it was mainly used as a home office, but now I usually work in the office. In terms of furnishing it has a wardrobe/shelf unit thing, chest of drawers, built in desk, new double bed, and a bedside table. The wardrobe thing in the corner can be removed if you want more space, and the layout of the room can be changed to your preference if you like! The room has blackout blinds and does not face the street.

On to the house itself...upstairs is a shared bathroom, my room, and what would be your room. Downstairs has the kitchen/diner that you would have full access to. Dining area leads into the garden which you're also welcome to use. Kitchen has a full American fridge/freezer which has plenty of space for whatever you want to keep in there.

The house is less than 10 minutes walk from Seven Sisters Station and 15-20 min walk Tottenham Hale, so pretty well connected. It’s on a lovely quiet street with no through traffic.

Attention, there is a cat here! I have a gorgeous cat (Mittens) who will both want your affection and shun you at the same time. He mostly plods around in search of his next meal and is well behaved, but as he is a cat he has no concept of time or social constructs; this means if he’s home he typically starts his day whenever someone wakes up, and for that reason I’m looking for someone who is on a similar work schedule (i. e. not going to gym at 4am)! Honestly though , he’s rarely around at night. Obviously I have the burden/pleasure of his general care ☺️

A bit about me, my name is Howard, I'm 37/m and work in IT. I’ve lived in the house for 6 years and love it here! I smoke but not in the house, so if you smoke that’s fine, but I ask the same and to keep it to the garden!

Bills & internet (500mb with great wifi coverage and also wired internet) all included.

The room is available from end of October (exact date still tbc but will know shortly). All inclusive for a Monday to Friday let (ie 4 nights a week). There is flexibility on price for the right person, or you don't need it for the full M-F so please don’t hesitate to drop me a message!
