Hi! We are looking for a new housemate to join us in our 3-bedroom flat in South Wimbledon.
The room is a good-sized double bedroom with high ceilings and natural lighting. The pics presented also show our living room, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom. The flat was renovated fairly recently within the last 2 years and it is split across two levels which gives it a spacious feeling. The monthly rent is £800. With all bills included (council tax; energy; water; WiFi) the total monthly costs are approximately £900-950.
The flat has an excellent location 5 mins walk away from South Wimbledon and less than 10 mins from Colliers Wood underground stations. It is within 10 minutes of several large supermarkets (Sainsbury's; M&S) and many other shops and amenities. If you are a nature lover, then you can also find the Wandle Trail nearby which leads to Morden Hall Park.
A few words about us. I am a public servant and migrants' rights advocate currently working a mix between home and the office. The other flatmate, T, is a dedicated postgraduate student and journalist. It is a friendly but introverted household.; we are rather quiet at home and it is very much our space to relax and restore. We would appreciate a flatmate who enjoys a nice chat and occasionally hanging out, but also values personal space.
