Hey potential housemate!
We have a room available in our flat in South Wimbledon. Ideal move in date is 10th December, however earlier move in is possible. Bills average over the year to around £130 a month. We are in Council Tax Band C. Well connected - 2 minute walk to South Wimbledon Station (Northern & Night Tube), 10 minute walk to Wimbledon Station (District, National Rail & Tram), 5 minute walk to Morden Road (Tram), Night busses etc.
The room is a large double with bed, large wardrobe and a decent space for a desk/additional furniture.
It's part of nice 4th floor, 4-bed flat with 2 guys and 1 girl (1 gay, 1 bi, 1 straight) - all professionals. We all have very different jobs that keep us busy at different times, but like to chat and catch up when all in. It's a chilled flat, we treat it as our home and come and go as we please. We have mates over but nothing major, or late night as we're early risers.
The flat is spacious yet homely and it's clean and tidy. There is a large lounge with TV, corner sofa and an 8 person dining table. A big kitchen with gas stove, oven, microwave, , fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and just about every utensil you could imagine.
Local area has loads of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. And lots of green space.
We pay £32 on rotation every 2 weeks for a cleaner, who cleans the shared spaces. We're looking for someone who's laid back and in professional work. Chips in with the house where needed and wants to live somewhere that's a home, not just a place to sleep.
