Double Room Available (South Wimbledon)

Double room available in our recently renovated Victorian two-bedroom end-of-terrace home.

We are located just a 5-minute walk from both South Wimbledon and Colliers Wood stations (Northern Line), with Wimbledon town centre only a 10-minute bus ride away. The house is conveniently situated close to shops, supermarkets, gyms, and other local amenities. Parking permits are also available.

We are Ellie (26) and Jack (28), a professional couple working in product and finance, both currently working from home a few days a week. We are looking to rent out our spare room to someone friendly, tidy, and easy to live with — ideally someone we get along well with, as we would love the house to feel sociable and relaxed rather than just a rental arrangement.

The room is currently set up as a home office, but we are happy to furnish it to suit the right person. We can provide a fixed double bed, 1.5m Pax wardrobe, desk, and desk chair if working from home is needed, and we’re also happy to discuss arrangements if you already have furniture.

All main areas of the home are shared, including the living room, dining space, kitchen, bathroom, and garden.

We enjoy hosting dinner parties and summer BBQs, so would particularly welcome someone who would enjoy being part of a friendly home environment.

We also have two sausage dogs who visit from time to time, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs.

Jack loves the Gym and goes minimum 5 times a week, watching Rugby with mates, and grew up on a farm so is an animal lover.

Ellie also loves seeing her friends, bottomless brunches, Pilates, binge watching TV series and most importantly travelling, we try to go away every 6-8 weeks and explore somewhere new!
