Hi there, my name is Christopher and I am looking to rent a room.

The room has a king size bed, orthopedic pocket sprung mattress and carved wooden furniture

Live in a really nice, leafy, quiet and safe residential area - a few minutes walk to Wimbledon Common and tennis courts.

Where I live is a great location for those who enjoy a green environment, jogging and prefer to be in an area where the air is fresher, more trees, is safe and far less traffic and people.

Also the scenic and delightful Wimbledon Village is a 15 minute walk away where sometimes I hang out. There is a Co-op in under 5-minute walk. Southfields is about 13 minutes walk and has M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury's, many coffee shops, PureGym etc.

The room is 4 x 3.5m, with quality wooden furniture (almost in new condition) along with the comfortable king-size bed with an orthopaedic mattress. Please see pictures.

Has excellent storage space with attractive matching carved pine wooden furniture (almost new. Will describe the bedroom as follows:

- kingsize carved wooden bed with firm orthopedic pocket sprung mattress in good firm condition. Has high carved wooden headboard and footboard
- large double wooden wardrobe with 4 x large drawers underneath
- large modern glass desk (see photos)
- two wooden bedside cabinets
- tiffany Egyptian lamp

- wooden framed mirror
- room carpeted

Home has the following:

- good size modern'ish kitchen with new washer machine and microwave
- bathroom/shower that is kept clean and tidy. Shower operated through a combination-boiler for instant hot water

- gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, washer-machine, fridge/freezer

Location, Parking, Travel and Information:

Home is 12 to 15 minute walk to Southfields Station or quicker on 39 bus. Wimbledon Station is 10 minutes by bus journey or 30 minute walk.

Off street parking available 2 minutes walk away – get in touch for more information about this. Unrestricted parking on main road between 4pm to 10am in front of home. Can explain parking to you.

Bus stops are approx 4 minutes walk away: 39 goes to Putney, Southfields, Wandsworth, Clapham Junction); 493 to Richmond, Roehampton, Putney, Southfields, Wimbledon and Tooting, and 93 to Putney, Southfields, Wimbledon and Cheam).

Shops: Local parade of small shops (4 mins), Southfields (12 to 15 mins walk), Wimbledon Village (5 mins by bus) Wimbledon Town Centre (10 mins by bus) and Putney (15 min by bus).

2 minutes journey by car to Wimbledon Village, 7 minutes drive to Putney and 8 minutes to Richmond Park.

About Me

Have my kids visit and stay with me in my home from Friday through to Sunday.

I am a straight male, former professional civil servant. Londoner born and raised and of South American origin. Would further describe myself as friendly, down to earth, helpful, tidy, reliable and trustworthy. Not a party animal, relatively quiet and considerate, respectful towards others.

I am ideally looking for someone similar to myself who is also in full time external employment.
