Double room in sociable Southfields house

Hi there,

We are Dan and Tara, and have lived here for the past 7 (Dan) to 12 (Tara) months. We both get on very well and are looking for someone easy going and fun to become a friend and a flatmate.

The house is located just a short 5-minute walk from Southfields Station and a 20-minute walk from Earlsfield Station, very close to Wimbledon park. The house has a spacious and open-plan living/dining space, with a separate utility cupboard, a large modern kitchen (with available space to the rear of the kitchen, currently used as an office and extra storage space), a downstairs WC and an upstairs bathroom. There is also an outdoor terrace to the rear of the property. Your bedroom (first-floor) a good sized double room comes with a bed but no other furniture. (Apologies for the blurry photos!)

On furniture, the house is technically unfurnished and we have recently bought a whole bunch of new furniture and made it very homely, so we may need to discuss purchasing a share of it from the outgoing house mate but tbd.

A bit about us – we are both very sociable and enjoy doing our own thing (going to the gym/ swimming/running / cycling / meeting up with friends) but also sometimes like to chill and catch up for a drink together (when our busy calendars align!). We are both friendly and respectful and would like to find someone similar in nature who we can share our home with and everything in it, TV, coffee machine, Friday wine and catch ups etc etc.

We both work from home most of the time but sporadically are out with work. Dan works from the back room and Tara from her room, but we are open to discussing and pretty easy going with this for the most part.

We also like to keep the house nice and clean, making it feel like a home that we want to relax in. We currently have a cleaner and would like to keep this up. Between the 3 of us this would just work out at £35 per month, that we just add to the monthly bills and split out. (Bills are around £100pm average but obviously go up in winter and down in summer)

We can be relatively flexible on dates for viewings, however, the move-in date is 28 September (slight but minimal flexibility around this unfortunately).
