I’m looking for a new flatmate as my current one is moving back to Korea in January, we’re heartbroken 💔 Alas, that leaves her room open for a new person to take over her half of the lease through the end of September!
About the flat: Cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath flat with a lovely little garden (great for entertaining) on a quiet street. Double bedroom with space for a desk if you WFH. 2 large built in wardrobes. Partially furnished (can discuss specifics with my flatmate if interested). 7 minute walk to Southfields Station (District Line). Super safe area! The little grocery stores are near the tube station and include M&S Foodhall, Tesco and Sainsbury Local. The large Sainsbury’s is a 17 min walk. (Though you are welcome to tag along to Asda on my weekly shop!). Walkable parks include Wimbledon Park and King George’s Park. Managed by Foxton’s. Parking is easy enough but there is a permit you would need to purchase.
About me: I’m Hannah, I’m an American who’s been living in the UK for 3 years. I work as a nurse in Victoria. I usually work 3-4 12hr shifts a week, rotating between days/nights (but don’t worry I’m a hard sleeper!) I love getting outside with my dog Agatha ❤️ she’s a 6 year old mutt who loves a cuddle (she’s a quiet dog, but occasionally she gets zoomies). Also, love a glass of wine with a book or Netflix. Perks include a cute dog, a flatmate who drives/ has a car, and hopefully an extra ticket to Wimbledon in 2026 🤞🏽
What we’re looking for: preferably someone who is looking for a social household, not just a place to stay. Someone who likes dogs(too much to ask?). Not a crazy party household, but love opening the flat to friends! Ideally looking for someone to take over for the remainder of the lease (Jan-Sept 2026). The room has space for a desk, so totally okay if you WFH/hybrid.
Details:
-£1150/month + £90-£120 for utilities monthly, sometimes a bit more in winter(energy, gas, water, internet, tv license, and council tax Band D)
-Deposit £1326
-Move-in Date: Around January 6
-We are technically approved for two dogs as my other dog sadly passed away this summer, but Agatha isn’t a fan of the feline persuasion (sorry!).
