MASSIVE double in Southfields - sharing flat w/ 1

Hello!

I have a massive double room in a 2-bedroom flat that will become available on 27 Feb 2026 (possibly earlier). The room comes fully furnished (bed, 2 wardrobes and one chest of drawers) and has plenty of light and ventilation.

The flat is located on a quiet street in Southfields, SW18, a 3-min walk from the station (District line). You will be 12 minutes away (6 stops) from Earl's Court station (change for the Piccadilly Line), and a further 10 minutes (4 stops) to Victoria station (change for the Victoria line).

There are 3 supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury's and M&S) within 5 minutes from the flat, as well as 2 off-licences, 3 pharmacies, butchers, hair dressers, nail salons, 3 charity shops, a Nero Cafe, Greggs, a pub and lots of charming shops, all within 3-5-minutes walk. We are also within walking distance (15 minutes) from Wimbledon Tennis Courts and there are plenty of green areas and nice shops around (all the way to Wimbledon). Southside Shopping Centre is a 20-minute walk from the flat, with cinemas and big chain retailers.

We have off-street, private parking and the building is very quiet and tidy.

The flat is a very good size, with plenty of space and light both in your bedroom and in the shared areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and all small appliances (including a great coffee machine).

Bills are not included, and normally come up to £150-£180 per month (depending on energy consumption). That includes fast broadband, TV licence, Sky TV with all packages (minus Sports), Netflix, council tax, water and electricity/gas.

We are on the ground floor and the kitchen door opens to the community garden, which no one really uses, so it's kind of a private green area 90% of the time. It's a nice space to have barbecues during summer and if you work from home, you can seat outside on the wooden table/bench.

You will be sharing with myself only - I am a 54 years old Brazilian professional, working 4 days a week from the office in Central London. I am a Christian, so if you are too, that will be awesome - but not at all a requirement. The most important thing is that we respect each other.

I have a cat, Lunna, a sweet, playful 4-year-old Moggy kitty. She's well behaved, will not scratch anything and anyone, won't bite and attack even when scared. She will leave you alone if you don't want to be around her.

The flat is best suited to a working female professional who values privacy, order, cleanliness and a peaceful living environment. This is not a party house, and is not suited to social hosting or frequent visitors, although I don’t mind if you want to have family or friends over for lunch or dinner once in a while.

I am quiet, respectful, tidy and culturally considerate. This will be a perfect home to someone who is comfortable in a calm, low-traffic household.
