Double room to rent in Southfields

Hello lovely people,

I am moving out of this lovely flat in late March/early April and am looking for someone to take over my room. The move-in date is flexible but will probably sit between 30th March to 30th April the latest.

This is good-sized room that has space for a desk (I might not take the desk so can leave it for you should you need it!) and comes with a double bed, chest of drawers, bedside table and built-in wardrobe.

It is a 10–15-minute walk to Southfields Station (Zone 3, District Line). Very close to Wimbledon Park (my favourite place to go living here!) and Wimbledon Common. Bus route 39 and 493 at the doorstep that could take you to Wimbledon High Street/Wimbledon Town, South Side Shopping Centre in Wandsworth, Clapham Junction, or Putney Bridge. The neighbourhood is super quiet and peaceful.

The flat has been redecorated and refurbished. The other tenants are professional and friendly, with a mix of office and WFH. You will have your own designated storage area in the kitchen. There is a side of the kitchen that acts as a shared living room with a sofa and a TV, with access to the balcony of the flat through the kitchen, which is very lovely in the summer or for enjoying the sunset. The toilet and bathroom are separated which is very handy for a four-people flat. A cleaner will come to clean every fortnight (included in the rent), but we as a flat maintain the common area ourselves too.

All bills (incl. council tax) are included in the rent, which comes to £830 per month. The landlord will ask for a holding deposit of £150, forming part of your full deposit.

Looking for someone ideally professional because of landlord’s request for referencing reasons, but landlord is happy with employed or Master’s students.
