Short Let - Double Room Southwark (Zone 1)

We have a double room available for £1000+ bills (approx £100) per calendar month.

Flat
The room comes furnished. It has a bed and cupboard. There is also a desk, chair and monitor, so is ideal for working from home. The room has a good-sized window that overlooks a quiet courtyard.

The flat is very spacious. All the rooms are on one floor spread out across the top of a former clergy house (it’s a cool building). We have a big kitchen so there’s plenty of space for everyone to cook and we have a dining table as well. The living room is also big and it’s a comfortable place to hang out and host friends.

Tucked away inside the building there’s a communal courtyard for all the residents to share and it comes with secure and covered bike storage.

The star attraction of the flat is our private roof terrace with views of the Shard.

Location
The location couldn’t be better. We’re a few minutes walk from Southwark station (Jubilee line) and we’re less than 10 minutes from Waterloo station (Bakerloo, Northern, Waterloo & City) and Borough station (Northern line). There are also lots of buses on our doorstep that’ll quickly take you all over London.

There are tons of great bars, pubs and restaurants near the flat. There are plenty of attractions too and you can walk to places like Borough Market, the Tate Modern and the Thames in less than 10 minutes. The City, St Paul’s, St James’s Park, Covent Garden and Soho are all less than 30 minutes by foot.

For your daily needs we have Tesco, Sainsburys, Amazon fresh and M&S all within a short walk from the flat. We also have several local gyms in the area, tennis courts, basketball courts and running clubs.

Flatmates
You’ll be living with Megan, Sarah, and Nick. Megan and Sarah know each other from work and have both separately taken a year-long career break to travel the world, but we are back in London now. Nick is a Physicist who travels quite a bit for work. We love the area and we’re always hanging out in bars, restaurants, parks and galleries etc.

During the week the flat is a quiet place to work and sleep while on weekends it's not unusual to have people over for barbecues, dinners, drinks. The flat is also well insulated in terms of noise, so you’ll have no trouble sleeping if you fancy an early night and we’re considerate of each other’s schedules too.
