Double room in Southwark (Zone 1)

We have a double room available in our two bedroom, one bathroom flat in Southwark. The flat has high ceilings and a good sized bedroom, and being on the top floor of the building (3rd floor) it also gets a great view across the city. We’re an easy going couple looking for another flatmate who’s friendly, considerate and easy to live with.

It’s in a great location, around a 5 minute walk to Elephant and Castle station and 10 minutes to Southwark station. Super easy to get around the city, with Santander bikes nearby too. We really love living here.

A bit about us. We both work in creative fields, mostly going out to work 3 to 4 days a week and occasionally working from home. We’re both into art, design, film and cooking, and the flat is generally pretty calm during the week. Weekends are usually spent cooking, seeing friends, going to exhibitions or occasionally watching something on the projector.

About you. We’re looking for someone clean, considerate and easy going who wants the flat to feel relaxed and homely rather than just somewhere to sleep. Ideally you’re not working from home full time and are happy living in a quieter flat during the week. This probably won’t be the right fit if you’re looking for a party flat or somewhere with people regularly coming and going late at night. Also to note, this is a no smoking flat.
