Your room is furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables and a wardrobe, and has a full height window and door access to the balcony. You will have your own luxury bathroom with a bathtub.
The flat is on the fifth floor and has a wooden-decked balcony that crosses the front of a spacious lounge and the smaller bedroom, with views towards the City and the east, getting plenty of daylight throughout. It is furnished to a high standard with modern furniture. The open-plan kitchen has granite surfaces and is fully fitted with all mod cons including dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven and washer-dryer.
The flat has very good storage capacity. The apartment block provides a 24-hour concierge and video-entry phone. There is an onsite convenience store and a post office. The building is a 5 minute and 7-8 minute walk from Borough and Southwark tube stations respectively. Borough Market, the Tate Modern, SouthBank and London Bridge are a short walk from the flat, so this is a great location for transport links (and fun, entertainment, culture...). At our doorstep, we have a stop for the route 344 bus, which takes you to the City in minutes. There are two Santander Cycle Hire docking stations just two minutes walk away. There are plenty of supermarkets, coffee shops and grocery stores in the area.
A bit about me: I am a business intelligence consultant. I am sociable and like to meet new people and enjoy all of what London has to offer; I love hot yoga and training at the gym -a new one has just been opened round the corner and is one of many more in the area. I work long hours and travel quite a bit, but when I'm not working I relish some chill out time at home and sharing a cup of coffee. I am looking for a friendly like-minded flatmate who is clean, tidy, considerate and will appreciate living in the flat as much as I do.
The flat, where I have been happily living since 2011, will become available on 18 November 2016. Bills and council tax are on top of the rent and combined are roughly around GBP 120-150 per month per person max (this can be lower as it depends on consumption and we only pay for water every six months and electricity (British Gas) every two months).
