We are looking for a new room mate in our two bedroom penthouse apartment right next two Spitafields Market in a newly developed building complex with 400 sqft private balcony / rooftop terrace.
There is a current lease in place that expires end of July. This ad is therefore initially for the period from June until July. However, the landlord is willing to extend the lease, and hence a longer lease can be agreed and entered into subsequently.
Unfortunately, I have moved in with my girlfriend and barely spent any time at the flat anymore. Therefore, we have decided to start looking for a new flatmate.
The flat has close to 900 sqft living space with floor to ceiling windows as well as wooden floors in every room. The living room is extremely spacious with couch, chair, dining area and Miele designer kitchen (large fridge & freezer, dish washer, two ovens, separate wine fridge). The flat is fully furnished and has excessive storage area as well as washing machine and drier.
Your potential room has a queen size bed, extremely spacious closet storage (3 built-in floor to ceiling closets) and amazing views! The room also includes an en-suite bathroom with rainforest shower and bathtub. I'm also happy to include my TV and PS4 as part of the sublease.
My current flatmate and I were the first tenants in the flat after the building was completed when we moved in c.1.5 years ago, and hence everything is brand new.
The flat is located less than 5min walking distance from Aldgate East Station, Spitafields Market and Brick Lane.
My current flatmate is German and works in finance. He is very outgoing and always happy to chat or to cook together as well as the occasional dine-out / drinks. However, he has a demanding job and spends most of his time during the week in the office.
We are looking for a like minded professional who is looking for a beautiful flat, a social environment but also appreciates his / her privacy. Ideally, the new flatmate is already back in the office.
