Double room in friendly flat with balcony

Hello! We have a double room available on Toynbee Street, just a short walk from Spitalfields Market, with Liverpool Street and Aldgate East stations nearby. Brick Lane is just around the corner.

The room is in a four-bedroom top-floor flat. It’s cosy and bright, with a large window, wooden floors, and good storage thanks to a built-in unit. The room comes furnished with a bed and mattress.

You’ll be sharing with three friendly flatmates in their early thirties, from Italy, Singapore and Denmark. We mostly work from home, but enjoy the occasional relaxed Netflix evening together.

➕ Affordable – £660/month currently (+ bills approx. £150–200/month). Rent is expected to increase soon to £700

➖ The building is older – perfectly functional, but not luxury
➖ One main bathroom currently shared between flatmates (we manage well thanks to flexible WFH schedules)
➖ Part-furnished room – bed and mattress provided, but you’ll need your own desk/chair

We’re looking for someone nice, tidy, considerate and reliable, ideally in their late twenties or early thirties. We value good communication, mutual respect, and someone who’s open to being friendly around the flat without any pressure. Finding the right fit matters to us, so everyone meets shortlisted candidates before a final decision!
