Description

Our flatmate is moving out of her lovely room in Stamford Brook, just off the Chiswick High Road. It's a sunny room, with a single bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside table. It is fabulous value for this area.
The two remaining housemates - two women - are now looking for a female flatmate to replace her. She must be a non-smoking professional please.

The flat is gorgeous - the pics say it all really. It's on the third floor of an Edwardian mansion block, and has a lovely sunny living room with doors that open out in the summer; a bright and fully-fitted kitchen with washing machine, tumble-dryer, microwave and a tiny balcony; a huge bathroom with tub and power shower to share between the three of us (we all get up at different times - so no clashes there). There are big windows throughout, and incredibly high ceilings.

The housemates are both professionals. Claire works for a London University and Sumeeha works in finance. Both of us work from home on various days of the week.

There's a bike shed out the back, or if you drive you can get a parking permit from Hounslow council for the street out front. Stamford Brook tube station is just a 3-minute walk away, and the Chiswick High Road, with bars, restaurants, boutiques, bookshops and supermarkets, starts at the end of our street. Westfield shopping centre is less than 10 minutes away by bus.

This is not a party house - we will chat over dinner & catch up in the evenings but we are both fairly quiet people...there's a friendly, homely, sociable atmosphere to the house. It's a super-tidy, neat home - we all take turns to clean, and we always tidy up after ourselves. The housemates are looking for someone who has their own interests and life, but won't hide away in their room as soon as they get home. We are looking for someone mature, considerate & friendly. We are also an LGBT-friendly household.

FURNITURE: There will be a single bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside table in the room.

The rent is 508 per calendar month and the bills are currently about 150 each per month (covering council tax, gas, electricity and fibre optic broadband wi-fi). We also get an annual water bill - it came up for renewal at the end of March & was a payment of around 220 each, so the incoming tenant will need to pay the outgoing tenant their share. This is a private landlady let & so there is no agency involved & no agency fees.

You will need to pay a deposit of approximately 5 weeks rent. The landlady will seek references from your current employer to confirm that you're in employment and from your previous landlord.

The room is available from 1st October 2024.

We're planning to hold in person viewings next week (week of 19th August) for the person who would be a good fit, for a move in date of anything from 1st October onwards.

If you're interested, please MESSAGE me with some details about yourself...including age, interests & occupation . Message, not phone, is best, so I can share the messages with Sumeeha.

Thank you,

Claire
