Double room in friendly vegan/veggie houseshare

Bright, airy, spacious double room available in friendly, vegetarian/vegan house share.

Lovely, spacious double room with large windows and double bed, with storage underneath that can be made into a sofa/single bed if preferred.
£630/month + £35 bills.

The house:
1. Beautiful, large, fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker.
2. Exposed brick and double height ceiling that gives a wonderful sense of space. It’s the main communal living space and has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
3. Small open plan loft area that can be used as a makeshift sleeping space.
4. Shared bathroom with a decent sized tub and shower.
5. Beautiful wooden flooring throughout
6. High-ceilinged hallway where bikes can be hung and stored inside.
7. Balcony (that catches the sun almost all day) with a spiral staircase down to the south-facing back garden blooming with herbs, flowers and the occasional bit of veg.
8. Storage space available, shared between the three of us.

Location and Transport links:
Very conveniently located with excellent transport links throughout London including the City, West End and Kings Cross.

The house is on a quiet street directly off Seven Sister’s Road.

Located almost halfway between Manor House (zone 2 - Piccadilly line) and Seven Sisters (zone 3 - Victoria line/Overground), 10-15 mins walk away to either, with regular buses if you prefer (bus stop at the end of the street. Also, a quick 7-10-minute walk from Stamford Hill Overground and a bus stop at the end of the street.

Conveniences:
Shop wise, we’re well catered for with a superb 24-hour Turkish/general supermarket with in-store bakery 3 mins walk away, a proper greengrocers that sells a good range of vegan/organic products, a local Jamaican bakery, a chemist, a Post Office all immediately local. Ten minute to the nearest larger supermarket in Stamford Hill.

We are also close (5 minute cycle, 15 minute walk) to the Green lanes and Stoke Newington which are full of lively bars, pubs and restaurants.

A bit about us:
We are two people, looking for a third to complete the houseshare.

(1) I’m a friendly, warm person with an interest in the deeper questions of life as well as sustainable living, playing sports, reading, hugs, dancing, gardening, and I’ve recently started cycling to most places. I work as a Librarian and self-development is important to me. I appreciate clear personal boundaries and thoughtful, honest communication. I’m a neat, tidy person and believe in leaving spaces as I find them, ready for the next person.

(2) I'm a pretty easy going guy, I'm from Canada working on a PhD from UCL so usually busy during the day but happy to hangout after work or during weekends. I enjoy playing sports and getting back into playing some ice hockey and also an avid boulderer and cycler. I'm pretty big on communication, being clear about things people like and dislike so we can work together and make it a homely space.

It’s a non-smoking house but you’re welcome to use the balcony and the garden. No pets I’m afraid.

Single people much preferred. Occasional overnight guests are welcome.
