🌿 Lovely Double Room in Queer Canal-Side Warehouse
We have a double room available in our friendly 3-bedroom warehouse home, tucked away in a peaceful creative district right on the canal between Clapton and Tottenham Hale.
We are ideally looking for a long term flatmate, but short lets (minimum 1 month) are considered.
Our preference is someone from the LGBTQI+ community, with a preference for female, trans or non-binary folk.
Please only message if you're 30+

🏡 The Space
Our homely studio is part of a creative warehouse, a short walk from Stamford Hill Broadway for shops (including a BRAND NEW LIDL!), and well-connected to Seven Sisters, South Tottenham and Tottenham Hale for transport.
Right on the canal and just 5 minutes from Springfield Park, Markfield Park and the Walthamstow Wetlands & Marshes, it’s ideal if you love green spaces and peaceful walks.
The studio has:
- A large communal living space with a big dining table, comfy sofas, plants, a projector, games, KRK speakers and cosy dimmable lighting
- A reading nook on the indoor balcony
The unit (shared with other studios) has:
- A shared outdoor workshop area for projects or tinkering (scrappy, but does the job)
- A shared garden and deck overlooking the canal
🛏 The Room
The room is on the ground floor, carpeted, with a window to the outside (sometimes rare in warehouse living!). It is fully furnished with:
- Desk, double bed, office chair, clothes rail, 2 x chest of drawers.
You're welcome to bring your own furniture if that's a preference, but we would need to store any of the unwanted items for future flatmates (in our large storage space!). You're also very welcome to decorate the room & make it your own.
👋 About Us
You’ll be sharing with Knotty (38) and Gen (34).
Knotty is a Festival Manager who loves bringing people together, & is often out trying new activities for work, supporting pals’ shows, or keeping active with F45 & the occasional hike.
Gen works full-time in the music industry & is big on building community, dancing, circus, yoga & skating.
We both work full-time 9–5 (usually 3+ days in the office, 1–2 from home). We’re often out at gigs, theatre and the occasional queer event, but we also really value a quiet evening at home. The flat is a social but well-looked-after space, with the occasional shared meal, film night or chat in the kitchen.
🌈 Who We’re Looking For
- We’re looking for a tidy, considerate person who who helps keep the place feeling nice to live in. Ideally queer, though active allies are welcome. We have a preference for female, trans or non-binary folk.
- Someone proactive who’s up for shaping the space with us, whether that’s small warehouse improvements or outdoor bits.
- Open comms are really important to, we value being able to talk things through honestly & kindly.
- Due to the nature of the space, it’s best suited to someone who doesn’t work from home most of the week.
- It’s not a party warehouse, but we do sometimes host friends for dinners, drinks, crafting eves and films, and you’re welcome to join in / do the same.
