Dbl Room in Victorian House, Stepney, <1min tube

Hi!

We are looking for a housemate for a 3 bed Victorian house, 100m from Stepney Green tube and 7 mins walk to Bethnal Green tube the other way (1 stop to Liverpool Street). There is a co-op right near us, a Sainsbury local a few mins away, cash point / convenience store and post office right near. There is plenty of parking on the streets outside, the permit ranges from £30-£60 for 6 months I think.

I co-own the house with an old school friend, but he moved to the US last year. The house itself has all been decorated recently and is very clean and comfortable.

Currently, there is me (36, Surveyor) and a friend (Louise - 31, Events Manager) in the house. The room to rent is on the first floor, so would share a bathroom upstairs. Louise has the downstairs double with its own bathroom.

The room for rent is a decent size double, recently decorated, with solid wood ikea wardrobe and chest of drawers and just a standard ikea bed. It was my room but I have now relocated to the back room as that one is a bit bigger. It is already wired up for sky so if you had a TV and wanted to get the basic sky channels you would just need a £35 freesat box. IF you wanted all the sky sports, movies etc we could get an extra box organised for £10 extra/month plus the box purchase price.

The house has good broadband, a big screen TV / surround sound, sky HD, big leather sofa's / chair, open plan living area, a nice secluded back garden with outside dining and a Weber BBQ...plus all the usual stuff!

We are just looking for a housemate who is easy going, works normal hours, is a nice person, respectful of others, and definitely clean and tidy. We both work normal-ish hours but spend a fair bit of time out of the house, often out in the evenings and weekends / spending quite a few of them away. Would be good to find someone who also leads a busy life but is happy just to relax and chill out around others when at home.
