Description
Hiya!
I've lived here for almost four years now but because of our landlady changing her mind about selling there are now two double rooms available on a six month contract with the possibility to renew every 6 months after that.
The house is really gorgeous and amazing value. I was quite keen to make it feel homely and I'm looking for flatmates who want to contribute to that feeling as well, rather than just a room in a house.
We have a shared living room and a nice sized kitchen which I've furnished with things I've bought and found over the years. We also have a garden all to ourselves which I grow flowers and veg in - if you're green fingered or want to give it a go you're more than welcome!
A BIT ABOUT ME:
I'm 26 yo and I work at the Young V&A at the moment but I'm applying to Drama School to start in September so I'll probably be moving out of London after this six month contract. I'm quite house proud and I like the place to be looked after but I'd also rather be relaxed about it so as long as everyone's pulling their weight in their own way.
I like to be chatty and social with flatmates although my job can be quite draining so I also appreciate my own space as I'm sure most people do.
I love baking and I make a loaf of sourdough about twice a week which is always a lovely smell to wake up to :) I'm also into sewing and knitting and I make a lot of my own clothes. (I'm basically 45 years old… sewing, knitting, baking, gardening… someone hand me the crossword…)
ABOUT YOU?
I'd love to live with social, friendly people who want to contribute to the homely feel of the place. Probably someone mid-late twenties Ideally working a 9-5 just so we're not ships in the night as that can feel a bit lonely! Creative types very welcome. I don't have a preference of male/female/anything in between.
Sorry if I can't respond to everyone!
Also sorry but no sublets for the duration of the six month contract so if you plan to go travelling for a long period of time or anything, amazing, I'm super jealous, have a great time, but this probably isn't the house for you!
Bedroom 1: Large Double £780
Bedroom 2: Small Double £740
Bills (pp/pcm)
Wifi: £10
Council Tax: £42ish
Water: £18
Energy: Depends on usage but around £30 each in winter
