Description
Hello! I’m looking for two housemates to takeover two rooms from 3rd September. Both of my housemates are leaving London at the end of our tenancy in August. The rent between the rooms is staggered to reflect size and amenities. More details below:
The smaller of the two double rooms (£1050pcm) comes with a built in clothes rail and is bright all year round thanks to a sky light. A small desk can fit in there but would be ideal for someone who doesn’t work from home.
The second room (£1190pcm) is a large and bright double with a walk in wardrobe and plenty of space for a work from home set up.
The two bedrooms are on the same floor and share a bathroom, which includes a bathtub.
There is a big kitchen downstairs along with a communal living space and garden. The dining table also works as a work from home space — my current housemate is a hybrid worker and uses it to avoid putting a desk in his room.
It is located 7 minutes walk from Limehouse DLR station (2 stops to Bank), 10 minutes walk from Stepney Green (Hammersmith & City, District) and 15 minutes walk from Mile End (Central). There are solid local pub options (The Old Ship being a favourite) and the Limehouse PureGym is around 10 minutes walk away. Close by to the house is also the canal walk route, offering easy access to Victoria Park.
About me: I’m 28 years old and work in the office full time. I have plenty of mates in London and keen to get people involved in social stuff. Would prefer housemates closer to my own age who are up for going out and will also keep the place in a decent state.
