Spacious Room & private Bathroom in Limehouse!

Hello! We're Sophie & Manraj, two friends since University who are looking to fill the third room in our house in Limehouse (now that our third flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend). It's important for us that we not only get on with a flatmate, but we live with someone we genuinely like spending time with, so this description will cover house details and give a bit of a bio on us too!

It’s a spacious modern house located just a short walk from both the DLR (Limehouse) and Tube (Stepney Green) stations. The room comes with a double bed, bedside tables and chest of drawers & a huge built-in wardrobe. As it's the lowest room in the house, it has the great characteristic of staying cool in summer, and warm in winter. The room comes with a modern bathroom, which will be used by solely yourself. We have an open-plan kitchen and living area with plenty of space to cook, relax and unwind during the evenings.

The flat also comes with access to a private communal garden with the neighbouring houses. The garden is right next to our house, and provides a great place to work outdoors (wifi reaches out there!), have a BBQ in the sun, or to have a peaceful read of a book.

A huge advantage of this flat is it's central transport links & access to shops & amenities, some of which are outlined here:
- Limehouse Station (DLR), 5 min walk
- Stepney Green Station (District & Hammersmith), 12 min walk
- Tesco Express/Sainsburys local, 5 min walk
- Puregym 7 min walk
- Bank Station, 10-15 mins from the flat walking & on the DLR
- Lots of bus links, including a night bus which gets you home at any time of day!

The local area is largely residential, with a few spots that have become local favourites for us:
- Stepney City farm has an amazing cafe, and adorable animals for you to see on your lunch breaks if you fancy a walk
- Limehouse Basin has a great view of canary wharf and lots of expensive boats
- There are two canal paths that we often go on runs along
- We have several pubs in the area, the closest 2 are the Queen's Head & the Old Ship, both located on opposite corners of York Square

Now about us! We're both 26 and met 8 years ago in our first year at the University of St Andrews. We are fans of tv, the cinema and sports (we play in a competitive tag rugby league together on Mondays). We are also big fans of music - this weekend we're actually going to two gigs (Lawrence & Hozier!)

Manraj studied astrophysics and now works as a data analyst at a specialty insurance company in Bank (I promise it's more interesting than it sounds, we insure cool things like football teams, skyscrapers and cruise ships!). I'm a big fan of most nerdy franchises, from Game of Thrones to Star Wars, but also enjoy watching my home football team play (Wolverhampton Wanderers but don't worry I'm not an obnoxious footy fan!). I also love taking part in a pub quiz, having a board games night or trying out a new restaurant for dinner.

Sophie studied Geography and now works as a User Researcher for the government. I love being creative and do a few different crafty things like cross stitching and knitting. My main interest is probably the theatre (watching not performing) and I also love music. I'm currently on a mission to listen to all the albums on the Rolling Stones magazine's list of the top 500 albums of all time. I am a big fan of early 2000s tv shows/tv in general and enjoy doing sports.
