✨ We’re looking for a housemate to join our house in Bethnal Green! ✨

THE ROOM
-Free from 12th of September (or earlier if needed; very flexible); rent excl. bills
-Furnished with bed + mattress, desk + chair and a big wardrobe
-En-suite with WC, sink, mirror and small window; shower is on the same floor and shared with one other person 🛁
-Garden-facing sash window looking out onto a huge palm tree; you'll basically feel like you're on holiday! 🏝️

THE HOUSE
-Five bedrooms in total (spread over three floors), generously sized kitchen and a cute living room ✨
-Well-equipped with dishwasher, washing machine + a bunch of other appliances like a coffee machine, microwave etc. 💯
-Big garden with a picnic table, a fire bowl and of course string lights + palm tree + self-planted flowers🌻
-One-year contract but flexibility with subletting

THE AREA
-5 minute walk to Stepney Green station, 10 minute walk to Bethnal Green or Mile End station; connected to District, Hammersmith and Central line, and various bus lines 🚀
-5 minute walk to a local Sainsbury’s and Tesco, 10 minute walk to a big Asda, and 15 minute walk to a big Sainsbury’s 🥫
-Victoria Park and Mile End Park just around the corner 🌳
-Good selection of cafés and places to eat, especially towards Bethnal Green area 🧁
-Residential street (sometimes there’s some foot and car traffic during the day, as there is a day clinic and a campus on the street, but generally peaceful)

THE PEOPLE
We’re currently five people in the house (one couple), all women (no preference, just coincidence) all in our late twenties to early thirties. Some of us are students (all post-grad), some freelancers, some employed; a mix of sports therapy, international development, political economy/ finance and fashion cultures/ journalism.

Our interests range from sports, running & cycling, gym & yoga, travelling, politics & social causes, exhibitions & galleries, fashion, literature & movies to things to do in and around London!

We’re all pretty independent but always open for spontaneous dinners, garden parties, chats in the kitchen, movie nights in winter etc. – overall a super friendly and respectful atmosphere, helping each other out and making an effort to make the house a home! 💖 We’re an LGBTQIA+ friendly household. 🌈
