The location is excellent, with superb transport links (7 minutes by foot to Mile End or Stepney Green stations), green space (4 minutes to Mile End Park + Regent's Canal) and friendly neighbours (2 nearby flats are quiet students, one is a couple).
The apartment is attractively priced, and the landlord has not previously raised the rent by very much (5% per year). The tenancy is an Assured Shorthold Tenancy and the landlord would typically expect incomes that are 36x the monthly rent + bills. EPC rating D, Council tax Band B (£109/month), bills roughly £140 including internet.
The property has recently had kitchen + bathroom extractor fans fitted, and the bathroom is undergoing some maintenance following a leak. There are a few other maintenance issues that the property manager is addressing in the new year. The property's kitchen was recently renovated (1 year ago).
