Hi there, I (Lara) am moving out in early April as I am purchasing a flat, so my housemates Julia and Jacques are looking for a third housemate from 11th April! We live 5 mins from Stepney Green station (15 mins from Limehouse) in a 4 bed flat with a living room and a south-facing balcony. Stepney Green is a very busy area with lots of food places, and where we live is much quieter and very leafy. We are opposite Stepney Park, City Farm and 10 mins walk from the canal.
Julia works in research in the lab every day, and loves food, socialising and being outside in the sunshine! Jacques works in software in Cambridge, regularly goes to the gym and enjoys gaming! He has 2 of the bedrooms. We've all known each other for many years through a combination of mutual friends and living together and they are both lovely people. They are looking for someone friendly, considerate of the space and quiet/ respectful at night, who is ideally roughly the same age (early 30s).
The new tenant would be part of a joint tenancy until September, which would become rolling in May due to renters right reforms. Both Jacques and Julia have been here a couple of years and are looking for someone to stay long-term. In order to pass agent referencing checks, you will need to be earning at least £25K per year and will most likely be asked to provide a guarantor (who needs to earn £30K+ per year). Please only get in touch if you meet this criteria. The bills come to roughly £120 per month.
The room is on the top floor and is roughly 2.8 x 2.8 m so is a cosy double, with a small wardrobe and space for a small desk and a shelving unit. In the pictures, the wardrobe and bed will be included but I will be taking the other furniture. You will also be able to use the a built-in cupboard in the landing. There is also lots of stroage space under the bed. The bedroom faces north and has a big window so is very light and pretty quiet as it faces the back of the house. We have 1 bathroom with a bath tub/ shower and 1 separate toilet. You will also have a cupboard, fridge shelf and freezer drawer in the kitchen.
If you are interested in in-person viewings in mid-late February, please get in touch to introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself. We'll do viewings across a couple of slots. We're looking to find someone before the end of February to allow enough time for the referencing process with the agency. We look forward to hearing from you!
