Hi everyone!
We have a spacious room with access to a small balcony in our lovely 3-bed flat in Stepney Green/Limehouse (E1 postcode) as our current flatmate is moving to Australia at the start of April. We’ve lived in this flat for the past year and have loved it so far so we’d be really keen to find someone we click with so we can renew our lease 😊
About the flat:
It’s a spacious 3-bedroom flat in an art deco building, with a shared kitchen area and a large living room, and two bathrooms (one small one with a shower and one big one with a bathtub). We also have a narrow but long balcony overlooking Arbour Square. All usual appliances are included (washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen appliances etc). The flat is on the second floor. About the area:
The flat is in Stepney Green/Limehouse, the closest tube station is Limehouse DLR less than a 5min walk. Other nearby stations include Whitechapel (Lizzie line, Hammersmith & City) and Stepney Green. You’re about 1-2min walk from Commercial Road which runs 135, 15 and 115 buses, as well as the N15 night bus from Central London, which is quite good on a night out. Canary Wharf and the City are both about half an hour walk too, so it’s great if you work there. I’ve lived in this area for a few years now and personally find it very safe, it’s mostly families. There’s a big and a small Sainsburys, as well as a small Asda nearby, and the Limehouse Lidl is walking distance too. Lots of great pubs too :D
About us (your flatmates!):
You will be flatmates with me (Silvia, 24) and Eleanore (25). We both work full-time – I work in finance and am in the office 5 times a week, Eleanore works in economic research and is mostly in the office as well. We are friendly and like to catch up and chat in the evenings while still respecting each other’s space. Ideally we’re looking for someone we can maintain the chill vibe with, go to the pub with every now and then or have a night in, haha. Though note this isn’t a “party flat” really (as in loud big parties).
Rent and others:
Rent is £1050 a month without bills, bills come out to about £100 a month (inclusive of council tax)
NO STUDENTS (sorry)
Must work full-time as the landlord requires proof of income as part of the referencing process
