Spacious en-suite room available for one person only from 15 April in a large house in E1, I lived here for two years and it’s been a great home.

The room is fully furnished with a double bed, desk, wardrobe, and plenty of storage. It has a private bathroom with a shower. Windows face a quiet courtyard, so the room is peaceful and full of natural light.

The house has a very large shared living room and kitchen with everything you need: oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and lots of space for cooking or working. There is also a small outdoor patio area that can be used in summer.

You’ll be sharing with two friendly creative professionals (an artist and a videographer). The atmosphere in the house is relaxed, friendly and respectful to personal borders. Queer friendly. Guests are ok. We keep shared spaces clean and cozy and appreciate someone who feels the same.

Location is excellent: about 7–10 minutes walk to Bethnal Green, Stepney Green and Whitechapel stations, with easy access to several Underground lines and the Elizabeth line. Sainsbury’s, Asda, Tesco and Whitechapel Market are all nearby. Victoria Park, canals, galleries and cafes are also within walking distance.

Rent is £1380 per month plus bills (around £150); referencing is required to join the contract, and you will need to show income of at least 3x the rent or provide proof of savings or a guarantor to the agency.
