A large double room available in a bright, well-kept three-bed apartment in Stepney Green. The room is furnished, gets good natural light. £925 a month + bills (usually around £100 a month).

You'd share a bathroom with one other person. There's a kitchen, a small lounge upstairs, and an outdoor balcony — great in the summer.

Location
Limehouse, Whitechapel, Shadwell and Stepney Green stations all within 15 mins walk — about 30 minutes into central London. The City is around 35 minutes on foot if you fancy the walk to Liverpool Street. Pub at the end of the road.

About me
I'm Tom, 27, and work at a startup in Shoreditch — in the office most of the week. Outside work I run, travel a fair bit, and like getting out of London on weekends for hikes/runs. I still feel like a tourist here — visiting museums, galleries, that sort of thing. There is a great independent cinema nearby too that I try to go to as much as I can.

I'm looking for two new housemates to join a fresh tenancy agreement starting 29th July (there's a second, smaller room listed separately on SpareRooms for £800/month + bills). Happy with someone sociable or someone who mostly does their own thing — no pressure either way. It's a relaxed, quiet flat.

You'd need to pass standard reference and salary checks for the new agreement. I'm looking to get things confirmed by late May, so the sooner the better.
