Come and join our friendly household in East London - just five mins from Stepney Green station.

The cost:

Bills: a little less than £100 a month

The room:

The room is a first-floor double on the back of the house, overlooking the garden and catching the evening sunset!

The rest of the house:

This is a lovely big period property (we have the full house). You will share a big kitchen living-room, two bathrooms and a sun trap garden with five lovely housemates - ages mid-twenties to mid-thirties (three guys, one girl, one non-binary).

Between us we love pop music, film, football, cooking, cricket, gay hockey shows and a night on the tiles.

We also currently live with a bonus Dolly the cat - snuggly diva and east end icon who likes naps and warm laps.

As a group, we keep things clean and tidy without being anal about it. We are a friendly bunch who will hang out in front of the tv and enjoy the occasional pub trip / dinner / movie night or BBQ, but equally all have busy lives and are often out and about.

Because of this and the size of the house, it pretty much never feels cramped despite being a six-person household.

Area and transport links:

As well as being five mins from Stepney Green station (District and Hammersmith & City lines), we are around ten mins from Mile End station (Central Line) too. We’re also a short walk from Mile End Road meaning loads of buses too.

Despite being super central, we’re not too far from nature… with Victoria Park and the Regents Canal not far away. We've also got a lovely little park right on our road which is lovely on sunny days. If you head in the other direction, we have the amazing cafes, bars and shops of Bethnal Green and Columbia Road. There are lots of little supermarkets nearby for groceries, and a big Sainsburys close by too.
