Small Double in Our Limehouse Home

Hello all,

Unfortunately our housemate is leaving at the end of June and we are looking for another friendly, tidy & professional housemate to join our East London home. It will be 4 of us in total.

The house is mid-terrace on a quaint little street with a few East London gems like Stepney City Farm, Genesis Cinema, The George Tavern and the Yurt Cafe very close by.

Deposit:
The deposit for the room is £652 and is held in a "My Deposits" deposit scheme. We are on a periodic agreement as from 1st May 2026 and you will have to sign a change of sharer agreement.

Bills:
The included bills are Council Tax, Gas & Electric and Internet. Our landlady pays the water bill. We also usually have a little kitty for things like washing up liquid and other cleaning products - probably no more than £5 a month.

The House:
The house has three loos, two showers (one with a bath), a small lounge and a small patio garden. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, decent wifi (full-fibre Hyperoptic Broadband) and other useful bits and bobs.
All rooms come furnished, although some of the furniture in the pictures are from the leaving housemates.

Location:
Senrab Street is a quiet street just off the Commercial Road.

Limehouse (DLR) - 10 min walk away
Stepney Green (District/H&C) - 10 mins
Shadwell (Overground) - 15 mins
Cycle Superhighway 3 - 2 mins by bike.

Stepney Green Park is at the end of our road - our nearest bit of green space. Also within 10 minutes walking distance is Stepney City Farm, Mile End Park (& athletics track / gym), The George Tavern (old fashioned ale pub) and the Yurt Cafe at Limehouse.

Lot's of big supermarkets with 15 mins walk. Waitrose a bit further on and a newsagents at the end of the road.

You'll be sharing with:

Juliana: 36 years old from Brazil, working in retail. She loves books, art, and live music, and you’ll often find her reading in a cosy coffee shop or wine bar, or heading out to exhibitions and gigs. She’s also vegetarian and enjoys morning runs, yoga, and Pilates.

Georgia: 29 years old from Australia, working as an occupational therapist in community mental health. Often out and about with work or friends, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, travelling, musicals, and playing tennis.

Tania: 27 years old from Portugal, working as a receptionist. She enjoys working out, art exhibitions, live performances, and karaoke. She’s often on the lookout for new vegan treats, in the park enjoying the sunshine, or cosied up watching a TV show.

We are looking to share with people who enjoy a quieter atmosphere, but up for occasional drinks together.

A respectful and safe environment are very important to us, as well as cleanliness and tidiness.

You:

We'd love you to be a friendly, working professional who will occasionally join the remaining housemates for chats, meals and general good times. We follow a simple cleaning rota which keeps the house looking nice.

No smoking and no pets (Sorry!)
