Double room in Stockwell flat with garden

Hi, I’m looking for someone to share this lovely flat with me as my current flatmate has sadly moved back home to Australia. The room is currently empty so am looking to rent it out as soon as possible. It’s a fully furnished, spacious double with loads of storage, and has a big window that looks out onto the garden so it’s really nice and sunny too. The garden itself is a real bonus too, and is fully equipped with a bbq and paddling pool for the summer.

The rent for the room is £810 a month, with bills on top coming to around £110 each a month. This includes council tax, WiFi (virgin media so super fast), heating, electricity and water. I also have Netflix and Now TV subscriptions that I share free of charge :) There’s no worry of dealing with a nightmare landlord as everything goes through an agency that are really decent and responsive when it comes to fixing stuff, giving deposits back etc.

The flat is in a really convenient location, with both Vauxhall and Stockwell stations only 10 mins walk away for Victoria and Northern lines. Brixton, Clapham and Battersea are also really close, and there are pubs, restaurants, gyms, and a big Sainsbury’s all within a short walking distance.

A little bit about me - I’m 24 and working as a consultant. I like to keep myself pretty busy, so outside of work I usually spend my time (pre-lockdown) going to the gym, playing hockey and meeting up with friends, but I also love a night in with takeaway, trash tv and wine. During lockdown is a pretty similar virtual version of this! It would be great to find a fairly sociable flatmate that is keen to have a chat and hang out from time to time, but also respects each other’s space.
