We have a room opening up in our 4-bed semi-detached Georgian house with a large garden in Stockwell, SW9.
The room is a good size, on the top floor. The room is furnished with a double bed, a large built-in wardrobe and shelves, with plenty of room for a desk. The rent is £860 and about £115 in bills per month. The security deposit is £750.
The house is about a 7-minute walk from Stockwell Tube station which is on both the Victoria and Northern Lines. Busses run from the end of our road to Westminster and Victoria in about 25 minutes, as well as to Brixton and Clapham in the other direction in 10-15 minutes. Brixton, Clapham, Kennington and Battersea are all very much within walking distance. The house is very well connected for commuting and going out.
It is available from the 12 January.
The house is in Council Tax Band E.
There is a large Lidl at the end of the road (a 1-min walk) and a gym no more than 5 minutes away as well. Also nearby is speciality Brazilian and Portuguese stores as well as numerous pubs, restaurants, takeaways etc.
One of our current housemates is moving out with his partner, leaving Jordan, Anna and Jen. We are late twenties and looking for someone with who we can continue to enjoy sharing the house with, who’s easy going and chill. LGBTQ+ friendly!
Jen works from home regularly, spending some time in the office and Jordan and Anna work from the office.
We lead separate lives but do enjoy spending time together when we can, cooking, pubs, watching the football etc.
We are really looking for people who want to socialise with their housemates and not just a room.
