Hello! Looking for someone to let my room to for around 6 months while I go travelling. Large, fully furnished double room in a spacious, well-lit open plan 2-bed flat. Brilliant location in Stockwell, about 6 minutes walk from the Victoria/Northern line and a 10 minute cycle to Westminster. Top floor flat (2 flights of stairs).
Comes with a great housemate (Callum, 29M) - he’s friendly, chilled out and really easy to live with. He works in policy (3 days a week in the office) and is a regular frequenter of local Parkruns (and the Oval Farmer's Market). He's always up for a pint at a local drinking establishment or a catch-up over dinner but is equally happy to do his own thing! He's looking for a flatmate who's friendly, up for a laugh and reasonably clean/tidy.
Practicalities:
- Ideally available from 2 August until 16 January. Happy to be flexible on exact dates if needed, though I am planning to move back in when I come back.
- Flat is as is - fully furnished, including a desk and chair in the shared living area for working from home. The building also has a bike shed.
- Rent £1175 PCM.
- Bills (energy, water, council tax, TV licence, internet) approx £150 PCM in total. Council Tax is Band D (Lambeth).
- Technically “changing the name on the contract twice” rather than a sublet - the landlord is aware and it's all above board.
