Hi!
We’re looking for a fun, friendly housemate (a girl to keep the balance in the house) to move into a good size room available in Stockwell/Brixton house. We’re looking for someone who wants to join in on socialising and (classic Spareroom cliche) and is looking for a home, not just a place to sleep.
The house is spread over three floors:
Downstairs there is a large living room with separate dining area, downstairs loo, and a separate kitchen which leads to the garden. We have a BBQ and lots of garden furniture which we make the most of when it's sunny (although we're still waiting for summer this year!).
Upstairs leads to three bedrooms; Maya's and Jamie's rooms, and the new housemates (yours, hopefully!) and the main bathroom (shared between those three, with bath and shower), and then the top floor with an en-suite (Zeke’s).
The room is a good size with plenty of room for a desk to WFH. There is a double bed and a wardrobe. The room is overlooking the garden.
The housemates are Maya, Jamie and Zeke. Maya works in HR, and Jamie and Zeke both work in finance. We all work +- 9-5. We all met on Spareroom – Maya moved in June 2022, and Jamie and Zeke in July 2023.
Everyone is great, and we like hanging out together, but everyone does their own thing as well. We like all the normal things (pub, tv shows, board games, concerts, festivals etc.), and have been on days out together. We also just enjoy spending time with each other watching tv and cooking together (trashy tv watching occasionally encouraged).
Rent for the room is £807 / month (usually paid on the 16th), and bills come to around £150 / month - which includes council tax, water, energy, internet and tv license.
Deposit is £937.50
