Description

We are Kirsten (25, Scottish), Isobel (24, Irish) and Amirah ( 28, Canadian) we have lived together in the flat for a year. We like to hang out and catch up in the kitchen but also have our own personal lives. You can often find us at sport events, gigs, protests (🍉🍉🍉) or at the pub and then catching each other up on our days afterwards. We are an LGBT+ friendly house (so no tories please !) We all work FT on a hybrid pattern and are looking for someone who works in the office or on a hybrid contract.

THE ROOM: the room is large and unfurnished but our exiting flatmate is leaving some items behind (single bed that can become a double, mattress, chair and some others). It’s got plenty of room for a desk / wardrobe / storage space / whatever you want! It’s opposite the kitchen so some noises can often be heard so it probably wouldn’t be the best place for someone who works nights as we couldn’t guarantee quiet during the day throughout the flat. The room leads onto the balcony which is super cute and we traditionally use it in summer for drinks / meals etc with your permission of course ! Looking for someone who is comfortable with giving us access to the balcony (within reason).

THE FLAT: We live between Brixton and Stockwell Road (good for buses) and their respective Stations (good for tubes). The neighbourhood is safe and generally quiet.

The kitchen is clean, and has plenty of storage space, with natural light and - of course - loads of plants. It has a dining table to eat at or hangout at. It’s already stocked with appliances for us all. The toilet and bath/shower are separate, which we've found handy.

We are looking for someone who wants to become part of our little home here at Crowhurst House. We naturally like living in a clean/tidy space. Each of us tidies up any mess we make as we go and we additionally have a weekly cleaning rota, so you’d clean once a month. We’re friendly and non confrontational (the group chat tends to have general chit chat and never passive aggressive messages), but we also respect each other’s space and schedules.

NOTE: The flat is small and doesn’t have a living room. We’re very happy here, the location is amazing, and as you can see, the rent is cheap. You can make it your own space. However - that cosiness means it is not a flat where we can really throw parties (unless everyone is willing to open up their rooms) and means we are quite limited in socialisation space including the balcony.

In short, we know it’s important to find someone who will click with us on both personal and practical levels, to make this flat a home for us all.
