Double Room in 2-Bed Flat. Bills Inc. - Stockwell

Hi all! Looking for someone to take over our tenancy contract for a nice double room in a 2-bed property. £1000 per month for singles and £1150 per month for a couple. Security deposit is one months rent.

All bills are included (electricity, Wi-Fi, council tax, water). The Wi-Fi box is in this bedroom and has great/fast connection (perfect for people who work from home or game a lot)!

The bedroom is partially furnished with a bed, side table, desk and full-length mirror. The two chest of drawers in the picture are no longer in the bedroom, (meaning you'll either have to bring your own drawers/wardrobe or negotiate with current landlord as she provided previous furniture) but it's spacious enough for another desk, a triple wardrobe and a large set of drawers. Mattress is fairly new and very comfy.

The apartment itself is really sweet. We love the Mediterranean style. The tiles and countertops are easy to clean with a majority of cleaning appliances already provided (hoover, mops, steamer, etc.). The flat has a majority of white goods including washing machine, separate dryer, and a dishwasher. There's no traditional living/sitting/lounge room but it has a nice conservatory with big windows and comfy armchairs. It's a nice place to sit and work in the summer when it's warm!

The apartment is located on Stockwell High Street and a 5-minute walk away from Stockwell and Brixton tube stations (the Northern and Victoria line are great for transport across London and can get you to Kings X/St Panc. in about 30 minutes). There's a Lidl next to Stockwell tube station and a Co-Op, Tesco and Sainsbury's towards Brixton. There's also a corner shop over the road from the building.

It's perfect for a couple or someone looking for a place with great access to the centre of London but not incredibly busy or difficult to get to or around. There are great pubs close-by (we'd recommend the Grosvenor's Arms down the road) and it's a very young person friendly area. Close-by gyms, a skate park, and dog parks. There's an NHS dentist, doctors surgery and pharmacy on the road too.

We've already moved our things out so you'll be able to move in ASAP, subject to rental references and an introduction with the landlord. We can host in-person and online viewings, however we will need to travel down to London to do these, so let us know when you can and we'll sort something out! We also have a video of the full apartment to send over as well.

Another couple currently live in the other bedroom. They are really nice housemates (very clean) and sociable!
