Sublet : Double room in Stockwell near the Tube

Hi! We have a double room available to sublet for a maximum of 12 months in a friendly flatshare in Stockwell. Very close to the tube station (3min walk) with the excellent Victoria and Northern lines.

🏡 THE HOUSE
It's a spacious ground floor flat on two levels - downstairs is the living room and kitchen, upstairs is the three bedrooms and the bathroom.

We've got a washing machine, gas stove, plenty of fridge space, and fibre internet (very important!).

The living room is big and bright, with two three-seater sofas, a table, and space to host people occasionally. There's also an outdoor patio space where we have barbecues in the summer, and access to a green space. If you're lucky, you can hang out with one of the neighbour's friendly cats.

🛏 THE ROOM
It's 759/month plus about 100/month for bills. There is a double bed, a desk and a wardrobe, plenty of storage, and a big window (double glazed, recently serviced)

📌 THE LOCATION
It's just 3 minutes to the station - perfect for when it's raining and you just want to rush home. There are also some nice Portuguese and Brazilian restaurants nearby (among other cuisines), as well as Sainsburys and Lidl within 5 minutes walk.

Cycling connections are also good (we're a flat who like bikes) - we're near Cycleway 5 which provides great cycling links to Clapham, Vauxhall, Waterloo and Central London. It's 15-20 minutes to get to Big Ben or 10 to Brixton or Clapham.

👥 THE FLATMATES
We are are two PhD students in our mid twenties, a guy and a girl, but we don't spend all our time at uni - we also like exploring London, going to the theatre, reading, visiting local pubs, and sometimes playing tennis.

We're pretty chill flatmates, we keep things clean and tidy and we're both out (at work/with friends) more than we're in the flat. We're looking for someone like minded and a similar age. We'd like to be friends and not just flatmates!
