Description

One of our flatmates is moving out, so there will be a room available in this lovely flat! 🏡
We are looking for people who want more than just a place to sleep. If you care about keeping a clean, cosy home, enjoy chatting in the kitchen, and like the idea of the occasional dinner, movie night, or small gathering with friends, we’ll get along great!

The room is £840, plus bills around £75 per month and council tax is £127 per month (both me and the other flatmate are students so you would be paying this alone if you are working, but you can apply for a discount). Move in date is 10th November (we can be a bit flexible if needed earlier).

The flat is on the third floor of a quiet estate, just a two-minute walk from Stockwell station (Victoria and Northern lines, both with night tubes on weekends which is soooo convenient!). We’re tucked away from traffic noise, but Brixton’s is very lively and a short walk away, and Clapham is also close. There’s a Lidl, Sainsbury’s Local, and other convenience stores within a couple of minutes’ walk, plus a large Sainsbury’s in Nine Elms and an M&S in Brixton (both around 10-15min walking).

The living room is spacious, with a dining table and sofa (we had small parties with up to 20 people in it!). The kitchen is small but well equipped — new washing machine, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker. There is a bathroom with a separate toilet.

A bit about us: I’m Giorgia, 27, originally from Italy, and I just started a PhD in AI and bioengineering. I’m active (gym, cycling, running), I cook a lot (mostly vegan, and would prefer if you’re also veggie/vegan). I also enjoy electronic music, concerts, everything about left wing politics, and recently started crochetting. I’m tidy and proactive about keeping the flat clean, and I value living with people who also take care of the space and enjoy making it feel like a real home.

Irmak (26) is currently doing a PhD in neuroscience. She’s into cinema, photography, languages and being in nature. She enjoys gigs and festivals as well, and goes on as many backpacking trips as she can fit in a year.

If this sounds like the kind of place you’d like to live in, send us a message telling us a bit about yourself, your interests, and what you’re looking for in a flatshare and we can organise a viewing! Looking forward to hearing from you 🫶🏽😊
