A warm, friendly and very ‘switched-on’ older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including picking up some shopping, preparing lunch, cooking four evening meals each week, changing her bed and ad hoc practical tasks and errands as they arise. (The person’s adult daughter also lives in the property so it will be sharing the cooking and support with her.)

The accommodation on offer is large and bright double bedroom with big desk, ample wardrobe/storage space, and own bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen.

The property is conveniently located less than 10 minutes’ walk from Stockwell Underground Station (Zone 2 – Victoria and Northern Lines) and many bus routes.

A retired social worker, the person’s interests include reading the newspaper, the company of friends, watching TV Thrillers, reading books, listening to Radio 3 (opera), theatre and art.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests, this may suit someone with regular work and working hours.
