The room is in the upstairs of a two-level, four-bed flat and has a well-equipped kitchen, good-sized living and dining room, and split shower room and WC.

The rent is £775 and all bills are £100, for a total cost of £875 each month.

The room gets plenty of light and stays cosy in winter, while in summer there are lovely views across the treetops outside the window and it never gets too stuffy.

The flat currently consists of two males- Reuben from Scotland, who works at the National Theatre and Sam from the North-West, who works in TV- and one female- Emily, from Devon, a social worker. Everyone is friendly and respectful, while having their own lives and interests.

The flat is in a quiet block, located between Stockwell tube station and Battersea Power Station (both max. 15 minutes walk away). Nine Elms tube is around the same distance too, meaning there's excellent connections to the Victoria and Northern lines and the rest of London. Wandsworth road overground is max. 10 minutes away too, and there are plenty of bus connections.

There are lots of nice green spaces surrounding the flat and in Larkhall Park directly opposite, with nearby cafes and convenience shops on your doorstep- Portuguese deli Las Delicias is a highlight, as is the rest of Little Portugal up the Wandsworth Road. There is a little Tesco five minutes walk away, and a Lidl and big Sainsbury's within walking distance too.

Stockwell is a chill and well-connected part of south London, with the river not far at all and Battersea Park and Chelsea a short journey to the west. Vauxhall lies to the north and from there or on the tube easy access to central London. To the south are Clapham and Brixton which are excellent for food and drinks.
