Description
After 1 year I am selfishly abandoning my awesome and lovely housemate and moving on to travel around Asia!
I'm leaving behind a gorgeous, super spacious double room in a top/ 5th floor flat. The room is 80% furnished, the 2 white chest of drawers, the desk, the desk chair, the 1 white bedside table and the clothes racks are mine, but I am looking for someone who is willing to take them over for a small price. I will also include in the price the mirror on the wall and 2 shelves (as gift)
COSTS
£1050 pcm, not including bills.
Bills cover all main utilities, council tax, WiFi and a monthly cleaner. All together excluding the cleaner are about £180 per person
LAYOUT / AMENITIES
Flat is open plan, has a large kitchen with an island and living room space with lots of natural light, great for having guests over. It's a 2 bedroom flat with a single bathroom. There are two security gates to enter the flat with a fob entry system. In the shared garden there's a bike shed, meaning bike storage is at street level, out of sight from the street and inside of the main security gate. It's super easy and very safe. It's top floor too so the views are lovely.
LOCATION
Location is great - 10-15 mins walk from Stockwell (Victoria/ Northern Line) and Oval (Northern Line) plus lots of buses going all over. The flat is on the north part of Brixton Road, which has a good number of cute restaurants, cafes and a couple of bars, including our favourite brunch place Pipoca and local Crown and Anchor pub. We are a few mins from the co-op, 10 mins from a big Lidl and two small Tescos. Brixton high street is a 15-20 min walk away.
FLATMATE
I am gutted to be leaving this place and of course Chris, who you would be living with. Chris works as a consultant, loves all things cycling, running, triathlons and vegan food.
He's super sociable so often out and about in the evenings and weekends, but also loves the odd lazy Saturday bingeing a good series. He is pretty clean and tidy but not OTT about it (just don't scratch one of his pans...!)
Ideally looking for someone in their late twenties/ early thirties, full time professional, easygoing, kind and respectful.
