Room available in lovely Stockwell flat

My flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend, so I’m looking for someone great to take over his room and join the contract.

The flat is based in Stockwell, in a super well-connected spot. We’re about a 6-minute walk to Stockwell station (Victoria & Northern lines), 10 minutes to Brixton, and surrounded by great bus links straight into the city or further south. Basically: getting anywhere is easy.

The flat itself is honestly a gem. It’s a spacious, furnished two-bed, two-bath, with a generous kitchen and living room that’s perfect for cooking, hosting, or just flopping on the couch. There’s also a balcony and access to a shared backyard, which is a dream in the summer.

The room is large and fully furnished, with a double bed, built-in double wardrobe, and its own modern ensuite bathroom with a proper shower - ideal if you like your own space.

A bit about me: I’m 30, queer, and have been in London for 7 years (5 of those in this flat - which probably says a lot). I work in tech and split my week between the office and WFH (usually 1–2 days at home).

I’m pretty social and love hosting dinners or having friends over, but I also value downtime and a calm home. I’m really hoping to find someone who wants to create an actual home together, not just share a space - someone friendly, respectful, and up for a hang every now & again.
